Carefully marrying the genres of folk, pop and rock together to create a distinctive sound with catchy melodies and clever hooks, OceanCode are a four-piece folk-pop band coming together from all across Scotland.
Formed in Edinburgh in late 2016, the band features vocalist/guitarist Ruth Gillies from Inverness, bassist Morgan Smith from Aberdeen, guitarist/vocalist Peter Wall from Dumfries and drummer David Burns from Glasgow. Since forming, they have received warm reactions from shows and festivals across the country.
The VanderBlues are a five piece Indie-Folk band based at Edinburgh Napier University. Their music is upbeat and energetic, with lyrics inspired by teenage and student life.
After performing their first show in March 2018, the band have supported artists such as Adam French and even sold out their most recent headline at 'Sneaky Pete's' club. In August, they made their first festival appearance at the fantastic 'Stowed Out Festival' in the Scottish Borders.
With the upcoming release of their debut single 'Demon in Me' fast approaching, and more songs already set for mixing, the band are looking forward to an exciting end to 2018.
