Black History Month in British schools tends to focus around the American Civil Rights Movement, the Atlantic Slave Trade, and the work of British Abolitionists
-While this history is important, it often erases the history of Black British people
-This workshop aims to help act as a starter to look into that history and to start to reflect on how some prominent Black British figures have shaped the Britain of today

-The workshop will involve doing research on Black British History and creating a related zine or letter
-It is advised to bring a laptop, some pens and paper, this is not compulsory, just highly advised
Room is Wheelchair Accessible
