Everybody deserves to feel good in their body and enjoy food. And everyone is capable of reaching that place. These workshops, which can be taken individually or as a series, are for those who are finding it difficult to navigate towards that place themselves.
**ONLY 8 SPACES PER WORKSHOP**
Each 3 hour workshop offers a safe space to find connection with your body and its signals through a yoga based, embodied, approach.
The combination of discussion, yoga based movement practice, mindfulness and coached activities helps you to deepen your awareness and understanding of your feelings, behaviours and beliefs about your body and food. This enables you to look at your relationship with your body and food with new knowledge and informed choices so that you can make changes which are ultimately more fulfilling for you in all areas of your life.
You will learn to recognise hunger signals, types of hunger, what your body needs and how to respond to those needs. Working with the body teaches you how to distinguish emotional needs from physical needs, and make choices accordingly.
You will learn to recognise behaviours and beliefs which keep negative cycles playing out and help you to gradually change them.
The workshops are designed as a series but work on a stand alone basis also. This gives you the option to come to all 6, or as many as you are able to. Each workshop has a particular theme and you will be given tasks to carry out in the period following each workshop to help you integrate your learning into your every day life.
