Let's stop the world for a couple of hours and cosy in to ourselves in the warm Moon Studio. Life can be so hectic and we rush around getting to work, socials, yoga classes and more — here is your chance to jump off the ride and take it low and slow.
Continuing her theme of mindfulness throughout this year, Nadine will be weaving in the concepts of mindfulness into the workshop as you practice. These tools can be carried off your mat and into your daily life.
Who is this workshop suitable for?
All levels — the Yin asana can be quite intense but plenty of props are provided to give support. If things feel too strong, Nadine can assist you with Restorative asana.
What to expect?
We will be working in a heated space (28 — 30 deg) to ward off the winter chill and damp,
The workshop will begin with centring and a 10 minute slow and easy gentle flow to warm the body and help focus the mind to the breath.
Then we get into the juicy Yin poses where we can really crawl into ourselves and enjoy the quiet space surrounding us.
The practice will be focused around kidney and bladder chi (winter meridians) and also the lung chi to help keep the immune system strong.
Mediation and Yoga Nidra will complete your mini retreat and you will be ready to float home. Please allow yourself some time if you are hopping on your bike/in your car — and you may wish to take a quiet evening at home to enjoy the full benefits of your practice.
