With Nina Bogin launching 'Thousandfold', Beverley Bie Brahic launching 'The Hotel Eden' and Eoghan Walls launching 'Pigeon Songs', this triple launch will not be one to miss.

Nina Bogin was born in New York City and was a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Grant in 1989. She published her first book of poems, In the North (Graywolf Press) that same year. Two books of poems followed, The Winter Orchards in 2001 and The Lost Hare in 2012, both published by Anvil Press. Nina’s Thousandfold is a journey through seasons and landscapes, a journal of ordinary life punctuated by extra-ordinary people and moments – the births of grandchildren, the physical decline of a husband, relationships with family and friends.

Beverley Bie Brahic is a poet, translator and occasional critic. Her collection, White Sheets, was a finalist for the 2012 Forward Prize; Hunting the Boar (2016) was a Poetry Book Society Recommendation, and her translation, Guillaume Apollinaire, The Little Auto, won the 2013 Scott Moncrieff Prize. ‘Madame Martin will throw back her shutters at eight…’ With these words Beverley Bie Brahic opens The Hotel Eden, a book about seeing the world. She moves through – Paris, the French provinces, the American west coast – in the spirit of a flâneur, going about her daily life alert to the variety and mystery of human experience.

Eoghan Walls was awarded an Eric Gregory in 2006 and his first collection, The Salt Harvest was published in 2011 with Seren. It was shortlisted for the DLR Strong Award and his other prizes include shortlistings for the Bridport, Wigtown and Manchester Poetry Prize. Eoghan’s second collection, Pigeon Songs, is published by Seren and deals with fatherhood, migration and pigeons, and is due out this Spring.
