A packed and fun Thursday night with PhotoSoc starting with competition voting, and AGM after that! And a lot of pizza!
Competition voting will take place from 7-8pm: we will unveil the shortlisted 10 entries from each category and decide on which photographers get to take home the big prizes at the exhibition! Please note you must be a MEMBER to be able to vote.
****We are having our AGM at around 8pm, after voting****
In case you don't know, this is when we recap the activities from this past year, and elect the next committee. If you've had a good time with us taking pictures and exploring the beautiful Scottish scenery and plan to continue doing that, this is the moment for you! It's a lot of fun. You will meet many new friends and help many others enjoy the art of photography! Plus it will be a good addition to you CV. No prior experience in clubs/societies committee required, as most of our current members didn't haven any and it worked out well (or so we thought :p If you love photography and are willing to help more people have fun with photography, you'll be alright!
***Please note that only current PhotoSoc members are eligible to vote in AGM***
The elections are open to current PhotoSoc members only. It would be great if you could prepare a short speech for a few minutes so others can know more about you and your passion and your vision for the society.
